Our curriculum in years 7-11

We want to help develop future leaders and global citizens, so our curriculum is innovative, dynamic and designed to challenge.

We cater for students of all abilities, from those who are especially gifted in a particular subject, to those who may require additional support in certain areas.

In Year 7 our curriculum builds on attainment achieved at primary school and students follow a thematic literacy curriculum that helps to accelerate progress. It is known across the academy as the thematic learning experience (TLC).

The timetable is taught over a one week period with each learning period lasting 55 minutes.
