Admissions Arrangements
Starting at a secondary academy can be daunting, so we place great emphasis on ensuring the transition from primary to secondary education is as smooth as possible.
We work very closely with our feeder primary schools and welcome students to the academy in Years 4, 5 and 6. Primary students get the opportunity to sample the Parkwood Experience regularly visiting the academy for a variety of activities including music workshops, PE sessions, STEM Club and our annual roadshow.
At E-ACT Parkwood Academy our Year 7 students follow an integrated curriculum designed to gradually familiarise new students with our environment while building on the best aspects of primary education. This approach helps make the step up much easier, and helps create confident, motivated young students.
