Drop down day 4 at E-Act Parkwood Academy
Thursday 23rd, we had our fourth personal development drop down day of this academic year.
We had loads going on for our students for the fourth personal development drop down day this week, with HSBC doing workshops for our year 7 and 8 pupils to talk about sustainable solutions and gaming 4 good!
Year 9 did physical activities with the army as well as getting information about the civil service about who they are and what they do.
Longley 6th form come to see year 10 students to talk about the difference between school, college and 6th form to get them thinking about their options for when the time comes to leave school.
All of our students had a day filled with useful information ranging from learning about mental health, consent and appropriate use of technology as well as many more topics!
