World Book day at Parkwood Academy

Parkwood E-Act Academy celebrates world book day 2023!

Yesterday we celebrated world book day with staff dressing up as their book characters.

The whole school took part in a World book day activity where we started off the morning selecting different authors to read sections from their books, and reading Roald Dahl stories throughout the day and having discussions about what they have read.

At the end of the day during tutor time everyone took part in a quiz where students were given visual clues of what each character from books had left behind at a dinner party and they had to figure out which book they were from!
